TAKrags and Dust Control
The Original TAKrag
The original TAKrag is a general purpose TAKrag used in any
area for the removal of dust contamination. Different sizes and packaging
are available to suit the individual and bulk user needs. Also available
are larger sizes for maximum area coverage. The original TAKrag is an
ideal tool in the fight against contamination.
Medium tack. Cotton fabric
AquaTAK
AquaTAK is made from a blue non-woven fabric, which gives a
high snag resistant quality. Ideal for uneven surfaces and developed for
use with water-based paint systems.
Light-Medium tack. Blue poly/rayon mix fabric
AutoTAK
This is a superior quality TAKrag and is widely adopted by
vehicle manufacturers. It is virtually non-linting with a continuous
filament weave structure making it ideal for areas where stringent
environmental controls are required.
Light tack. White polyester fabric
Barrier Curtain
Barrier Curtain is an excellent material for filtering air
and effectively removes unwanted contamination such as lint, dust and
other fibrous particles.
Low Profile Mats
Low Profile Mats these mats have 30 positive adhesive
plastic layers and are only 2mm thick. They can be supplied in white,
blue or grey. These layers are peeled away once soiled to reveal a fresh
layer.
TAKmats
Super Dust Absorbent TAKmats have 36 resin impregnated
cotton covers enclosed in a heavy duty plastic frame with a super dust
absorbent cushion foam interior. Top cover can be removed when soiled, to
reveal a clean layer.

Paint Strippers
Brush on gel paint stripper
Gramos Applied 9199 is a high speed brush application paint
remover designed to remove quickly and cleanly most industrial paint
finishes, lacquers, and varnishes. Suitable for use on most surfaces
including wood but excluding light magnesium alloys.
Method of use: Brush thickly onto the finish to be
removed, wait until the paint lifts and bubbles. A second application may
be necessary. Non-convertible finishes will soften and may be scraped or
wiped off. Rinse off with water or solvents ensure all traces of paint
residue or stripper are removed.
Tacky Coatings
Tacky Surface Coating
Tacky Surface Coating is a water-based solution specially
formulated for application to painted spray booth walls. The film does not
completely dry out at ambient temperatures and its tacky surface collects
and holds dust thus greatly assisting in keeping the spray booth area free
from airborne particles which can be detrimental to the finished article.
Once contaminated the coating can be easily washed off with water.
Peelable Coatings
Propeel
Propeel is a white, light reflective, solvent-based
temporary coating designed for application to all smooth, clean metal
spray booth walls in order to provide an easy method of maintenance. The
dried film collects paint over-spray and is readily peelable to enable
even heavy over-spray deposits to be quickly and cleanly removed.
Propeel HD
Propeel HD is a heavy-duty, viscous liquid, which dries to
leave off-white, tough, peelable film. It offers a simple yet effective
method of maintaining and protecting non-solvent-sensitive floors and
other surfaces from abrasion, paints, oils, resins, and dilute acids and
alkalis. Applied correctly this peelable protector will even withstand
forklift trucks.
Propeel CL
Propeel CL is a solvent-based, semi-clear, temporary,
protective coating designed for application to glass, light fittings and
other surfaces that require good through visibility. This peelable
provides an easy method of maintenance as the dried film collects paint
over-spray and is then readily peelable enabling over-spray deposits to be
quickly and cleanly removed.
Propeel HS
Propeel HS is a white, heat-stabilised, solvent-based
temporary protective coating designed for application to all smooth metal
spray booth walls in order to provide an easy method of maintenance. It
can withstand exposure to temperatures up to 83 deg C. The dried film
collects paint over-spray and is then readily peelable to enable even
heavy over-spray deposits to be quickly and easily removed.
Aquapeel
Aquapeel is a white, water-based, temporary coating
designed for application to smooth, clean metal walls in order to provide
an easy method of maintenance. The dried film collects paint over-spray
and contamination and is readily peelable to enable even heavy over-spray
deposits to be quickly and cleanly removed.
Aquapeel TS
Aquapeel TS is a water-based transparent temporary
protective coating designed for application to glass, light fittings and
other surfaces that require good through visibility. This peelable

quickly and cleanly removed.
Oven Coatings
Oven Coat WR
Oven Coat WR is designed for use in industrial paint
stoving ovens and is a water-based, polymeric emulsion which, upon drying,
converts to a tacky film, capable of holding dust and dirt particles and
withstanding high temperatures for considerable lengths of time.
By treatment of all internal surfaces of stoving ovens and flash off areas
a highly effective dust collecting surface is obtained which also
minimises corrosion of the oven from solvent attack. By this means a much
improved paint finish can be obtained cutting down on expensive rejects
and repainting.
Barrier Gel
Barrier Gel is a water-based solution specially formulated
for application to spray booth walls and robot covers. Due to its heavy
duty nature it is not advisable to use in spray booths where operators are
spraying continuously. The film does not completely dry out and will
remain effective for up to 50 hours at temperatures up to 50-70 deg C.
Its tacky surface collects and holds dust thus greatly assisting in
keeping the spray booth area free from airborne particles, which can be
detrimental to the finished article. Once contaminated the coating can be
easily washed off with water.

Barrier Paste WW is a non-drying, water washable, dust
collecting surface coating, which prevents paint penetration and adhesion
and provides a dust and dirt retaining surface for spray booths and
fittings. It is off-white and water-based, so can be easily removed with
water.
Barrier Paste WR
Barrier Paste WR is a non-drying, water resistant, dust
collecting surface coating, which prevents paint penetration and adhesion
and provides a dust and dirt retaining surface for spray booths and
fittings. It is splash resistant and should be applied in thick layers.
It can be re-coated and is best removed by scraping.
